Privacy

Useful measurement, without mapping visitors.

WalletGasp deliberately limits its analytics. No wallet address or scan result enters our analytics tables. We never request a seed phrase, private key, or signature.

Public-address scan

When you start a scan, the public address is sent to WalletGasp in a POST request, then processed temporarily by our servers and the RPC or indexing providers required to produce the response.

We do not retain the address or result in our Convex database, analytics, URLs, application logs, or browser storage. The result remains in page memory and disappears when you reload. Incomplete coverage never proves that an address is empty.

When a scan completes, WalletGasp sends Appik Studio an operational notification through Brevo containing the time, the public address analyzed, the total known value, the finding count, and the coverage status. This notification is retained in the Appik Studio inbox and Brevo’s delivery infrastructure; it contains no asset details or visitor identifier. The stated value is an estimate and does not guarantee that the funds are recoverable.

Without permission

Before you choose, after you decline, or when Do Not Track is active, our analytics measurement is limited to daily counters by event type, route, and language.

These counters are grouped in our database: they contain no analytics cookie, session identifier, or free-form property that could reconstruct a journey.

With permission

If you allow detailed measurement, a random session identifier is stored locally. It connects page views and chat button clicks across your visits.

We do not collect chat content, URL parameters, wallet information, or crypto secrets.

Storage and provider

The analytics preference is stored in your browser’s localStorage. The language preference uses a functional cookie. Events and counters are recorded in Convex, our database provider.

Brevo delivers operational notifications containing the public address analyzed and the scan summary described above. Like any network provider, Convex and Brevo may process technical metadata to operate and secure their services under their own terms. This metadata is not added to our analytics tables.

Change your choice

After you decline, the “Audience settings” button remains available at the bottom left. After you allow, it disappears from the landing page but remains available on this page so you can revoke your choice. Declining immediately removes the session identifier stored by WalletGasp.
